The waterfall sculpture works with a metal pan and corian rock bed, which holds the water using a pump and a hose. Water recycles and trickles down over manzanita root and petrified wood into a the holding pan. Behind the picket fence (relief) a switch controls the on/off of the pump. The water is added with a simple pitcher and refilled as needed.
